Sun’s out, bun’s out!

I was at Mick’s Monster Burgers yesterday with my wife, and I must’ve spent close to half an hour on the queue trying to get some of their monster cheese burgers. Yes, It was worth it, thanks for asking! Not a paid ad, it was just really nice to be out there and enjoy the warm weather and the great view! Get yourself there if you can manage it, It’s nice up there!

• Portsmouth & Southsea Car Boots Sale for 2025 is back, on Sunday April 20th at Castle Field and the remaining dates from April 27th until 20th July (except June 29th) will be at Duisburg Way, on the common by the Pier Road roundabout

• Mayor Making ceremony is due to be held on Tuesday, 13th May at the Guildhall. There are free tickets here if this tickles your fancy, confirm by 25th April

• The council has begun consulting with Residents on a proposed new watersports centre on the seafront, next to where Eastney Esplanade meets Henderson Road. Take the survey here.

• Matt Dixon, David Mallet and Heather Uden are local musicians that represented Portsmouth at a reception by His Majesty King Charles at Windsor Castle to celebrate the work of community musicians across the country.
