In this week’s news:

• The City Council announced that new EV chargepoints are now coming online across the city, with the project intended to upgrade and replace up to 80 existing sites, making charging even more accesible to residents with EVs. If you own an EV, see what chargepoint locations are closest to you here

• The brand new King George V football complex is up for the SECBE constructing excellence award, in the ‘Integration and Collaboration’ category. Vote here to help KGV win the award

• Temporary road closures to take note of:

  • Southampton Road (Clement Attlee Way to Allaway Avenue): nightime resurfacing works, from 29th May to June 16 (8:00pm to 5:00am)

  • Chichester Road: southbound bus stop on Chichester Road will be closed between May 27th and 29th.

  • Middlesex Road, closed until May 30th

  • M275 Southbound Lane 1 Closure at Tipner, closed until May 29th

  • Winter Road, closed starting May 21 for approximately 5 weeks
